That made it tough to find a home that was "perfect" for us, but thankfully, we left room in our budget to make changes to the home we bought. Thankfully, the home we bought was large enough for us to live in during the renovation process, although we did have to make our children share rooms until we added that bedroom we needed. We learned that careful planning is important to ensuring the final result of your renovation projects is exactly how you want it, and we dedicated at lot of time to planning.
